This naturally processed Ethiopian coffee from the Yirgacheffe region offers a vibrant and expressive cup, shaped by careful post-harvest handling and high-altitude growing conditions. Sourced from smallholder farmers and centrally dried at the Lalesa site by Ephtah Coffee, the cherries are meticulously sorted and slowly dried on African raised beds for 12–15 days, enhancing sweetness, clarity, and body. Grown at 1,800–2,000 meters from indigenous heirloom varieties under Enset shade, the coffee reflects both terroir and tradition. In the cup, expect juicy notes of blueberry, red ripe fruit, bergamot, and caramel, with a chocolate base, spicy and biscuit notes, and hints of mango and tropical fruits.. A silky mouthfeel and a bright yet balanced acidity creating a complex and elegant profile. Beyond the cup, Ephtah’s deep commitment to ethical sourcing, long-term farmer relationships, and women’s empowerment through the Ama Commitment ensures this coffee is as meaningful as it is delicious.
